We've tested this yarn by throwing them in the washing machine and they come out even softer. However, that doesn't mean that hand knit items don't need just a bit of extra care. Here is what we recommend for this yarn:
- Put the item in a mesh laundry bag to wash in the machine. This will prevent pulling, stretching and general mayhem with other items in your wash.
- Wash with cold water and a gentle detergent.
- Dy flat, do NOT put in the dryer (please). The spin cycle took out most of the water so this is a super simple step. Lay the item out, shape it a bit, and it will dry quickly.
Done! Enjoy again and again.
